Be the Best, Never Settle for Less

So last October 13, my mom and I was invited to this seminar entitled "Be the best, Never settle for Less". This was sponsored by Trinitas Publishing, they do it yearly for their clients in return of continued partnership with them, last year their activity was a seminar on Neuro-linguistics and a treat to "The Sound of Music" play at the Resorts World Manila ended by a great dinner and conversation with their team. I admire how Trinitas put an importance in building a good rapport and continuous business relationship with their clients with those kinds of gestures.I told my sister that if ever our business becomes stable enough, we should do that kind of effort too! Learning about their story and the people behind their company, it makes me realize that if the company is taken seriously most especially by the owners and their heirs, they can run the business well and they get to continue what their roots have started under their management.

I think enough of the praise hehe..This year's seminar was led by the country's sought-after financial-life coach speaker, Chinkee Tan. The first time I saw him, i felt that I already saw him somewhere, his name seems familiar as well, then he went to introduce himself, he was then-TV personality then went into entrepreneurship until he realized his passion for public speaking which he now does as his profession. The seminar was a whole day affair and i'm glad that Chinkee did a good job in maintaining everyone's attention with his humor. I only have a 30 min attention span and must find something interesting to get me going but his lecture kept us involved and really gave me a reason to pay attention because I can relate to it and and I can benefit from it. I also think that sitting on the first row, in front of the speaker, was one of the reasons why I listened intently.:)

During lunch break, all the participants gathered to the area where Chinkee's books are being sold, he also conducted the book signing there.

I already have one of his books,"How I Made my First Million" which I bought at the Manila Intl. Bookfair, just last month and good thing he can personally sign my book. Chinkee said i hit the jackpot coz I only bought the book for P100 from its original price at P495. During the seminar, they are selling all his four books for 1200, you get a free shirt when you buy all. So since I already got one of the books, we got another shirt as replacement.
After lunch, we got back to the continuation of the seminar. Chinkee talked about the Secrets of the rich, how to save and get out of debt and other relevant topics written in his four books that he specially summarized and lectured to all the participants.

The seminar was really informative and beneficial for everybody. I'm glad we were able to attend this event. Chinkee Tan is an inspiration and his books are definitely worth reading. As of this typing moment, I have finished reading For Richer, For Poorer, How I Made My First Million and is currently browsing Till Debt Do us Part. Why browse? that's another story. I'll find some other time to share my review of the two books i've read and yes, I shall also share about why I have books "read" and books "browsed". What matters is that even though I browse, I get to finish reading a book. I just Chink Positive!
